I was very excited when Lee Davidson Connor Photography sent in Tom and Cat’s amazing vintage inspired wedding. I instantly fell in love with the beautiful paper flowers which were handmade by Cat and the bridal party and all the other gorgeous little details. As if that wasn’t good enough it was held in the most awesome place for a vintage wedding, the oldest pub in Glasgow.
I absolutely love Sloan’s. Not only is it the oldest Bar and Restaurant in Glasgow, it is packed full of history, vintage character, stunning decor and beautiful light. They are wedding experts who have been holding weddings for over 200 years and let couples organise their day exactly the way they want it. Oh, and they do delicious macaroni cheese (yum!).
Tom and Cat picked the beautiful grand ballroom for their humanist ceremony, taken by Celebrant Craig Flowers, which they shared with Tom’s family from England and Cat’s Glasgow based family.
Cat looked stunning in her beaded dress from Boulevard Bridal in Essex with hair and makeup done to match the vintage style by Blushing Belles – Scotland. Of course, Tom also looked great in his traditional Scottish kilt.
Sloan’s is hidden away on a side street right in the center of Glasgow. This gave the happy couple and photographer Lee a great opportunity to get some beautiful photos incorporating the fabulous features of the venue itself and some amazing locations nearby. The rest of the day and all the gorgeous little details were captured in Lee’s documentary style.
